I love this album. I used to think the violin was a somewhat annoying sounding instrument, but l have grown to love it. Yeah, I know that if David Garrett wasn’t so smoking hot, I might not have ever listened to his music. But I’m glad I did. As for those of you who criticize, you can put down the music all you want, that’s your right. However, quit personally attacking David and those of us who enjoy these songs. Music is a matter of taste and you show your lack of it when you do that.

Yo-Yo Ma and his album “The best Cello Suites” by John Sebastian Bach: some helpful reviews and a youtube music video with Yo-Yo Ma playing a Prelude. This is perhaps the best performance of Bach by a single instrument that I Ve ever heard. It is so amazing that it makes classical guitarist John William’s performances of Bach sound dull by comparison. This is the ultimate combination of composer, performer, and producer. Classical guitar album

The advantage I find in iTunes is the ability to select individual songs for purchase rather than an entire album that contains only one or a few songs that I desire. With this album, I enjoy each selection so much, I feel I received an incredible value by buying the entire album. Previous reviewers have already listed many of the positives but I love this album so much I wanted to add my enthusiastic endorsement.
The sound quality, song selection and artists are all excellent. After the first listening this entire album went in my favorite playlist of classical guitar. What a great value! Read more
